Hey Fleet, Rob and Brad. Remember riding matatus in Nairobi? I thought of you guys when I hopped on a Jeepney (pictured above) for a ride into town yesterday. You simply stand by the side of the road (there are no "Jeepney Stops"), wave one down, hop in the back and hand the driver 7 pesos (about 15 cents). These things are everywhere - and they love to make their rides look 'cool.' (I think you guys have another term for it that I won't use on the world wide web.) Often you see people sitting on top of them or hanging off the backs and sides during rush hour. I'm not sure if they are all paying customers. Dad misses you men.

Lionel,
hope the trip is going well. We miss u here back in valpo.
in talked to Fleet last night and he was really impressed with that bus on the blog. He wants me to start looking for one for him for his first car.He thought it would be a great way to carpool with all the shorewood people to calvary.
Can I get your permission to start looking?
Doug
Doug -
Maybe you and Noel could find a Jeepney on e-bay and then fly out together and pick it up. When it comes to cars - the two of you have no equals.
